Synopsis: “Nini Thowok” film is about Nadine (Natasha Wilona) and her sister Naya (Nicole Rossi) who were forced to open and not to sell an inn Mekar Jiwo as her grandmother’s (Jajang C. Noer) inheritance in Solo, West Java.
Nadine pindah ke Solo untuk mengelola losmen yang diwarisi dari neneknya. Losmen itu memiliki satu kamar kosong yang tidak boleh dibuka. Setelah mengalami berbagai kejadian aneh, Nadine nekad membuka kamar itu. Di dalamnya ada lukisan perempuan keturunan Cina dan boneka nini thowok. Perempuan di lukisan adalah Nonya Oey, pemilik losmen yang pertama. Teror mistis terus berlangsung, dan Nadine berusaha mencari tahu apa yang telah terjadi di sana puluhan tahun silam. Apa hubungan Nyonya Oey dengan boneka nini thowok, media pemanggil arwah tersebut?
