Little Women Synopsis: Little Women is a 1970 BBC television miniseries, based on Louisa May Alcott's 1868-69 two-volume novel of the same name about four sisters who come of age in America in the aftermath of the Civil War. The third BBC adaptation of the novel, the nine-part series is often considered—while not particularly widely acknowledged—one of the more faithful adaptations.
