Movie Story "Ned Brainard is een verstrooide natuurkundeprofessor die in zijn thuislaboratorium de meest waanzinnige proeven doet. Dan gaat er iets mis: bij een chemisch experiment gaat Neds hele huis de lucht in en hij mist daardoor voor de derde keer zijn huwelijksplechtigheid. In de puinhopen vindt hij toevallig een mysterieuze groene substantie. Tot Neds verbazing blijkt de substantie, 'flubber', te kunnen vliegen en zich te lenen voor de meest vreemde toepassingen.".
