Nijiyon Animation Season 2 is a Japanese animated series which started airing in 2023. It is mini animated series, and the duration of each episode of this anime series is not more than 4 minutes. On 6 Jan. 2023, the first episode was released, and by 24 March 2023, all its episodes were released for the viewers to watch. The series is produced under the head of Ootsuka Hiroshi and directed by Yuuya Horiuchi.

Ootsuka Hiroshi is a well-known producer in Japan and is known for producing some of the remarkable shows such as Love Live! Sunshine!! and Love Live! Superstar!! which were released in 2016 and 2021, respectively, along with Yohane the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirror, which was aired in 2023. Sunrise Production Company has produced the animated show along with Bushiroad, Kadokawa, Bandai Namco Filmworks, and Bandai Namco Music Live Production Houses. The debut season of Nijiyon Animation has 12 episodes, and it is available on Crunchyroll and Tokyo MX in some regions. The season is also available on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform.

It is an animated mini-show wherein a club of 13 members tries to save their school’s idol club from being disbanded. It is a spin-off of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. It is also an animated show which has released two seasons. The first one was aired on 3 Oct. 2020, and the second season on 2 April 2022 on Bilibili, Crunchyroll, FUNimation Entertainment, and Tokyo MX streaming platforms.
