ATLANTA – March 19, 2026 – UPtv, the television home for uplifting entertainment, will celebrate the Easter season from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday with programming embracing love, hope, faith and new beginnings. Beginning Sunday, March 29, the network will air the beloved faith classic The Ten Commandments, followed by a Love Comes Softly movie marathon. Good Friday showcases enduring films that bring the Bible’s most powerful stories to life, including The Ten Commandments, The Greatest Story Ever Told and Mary, Mother of Jesus. Holy Saturday is filled with fan‑favorite Amish movies such as Christmas in Amish Country, Christmas at the Amish Bakery and Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries: Blessings in Disguise.
Easter Sunday brings the Cable Premiere of Where the Wind Blows at 7 p.m. ET. The film follows a hardened cowboy who pauses his untethered life on the open range when he agrees to pose as a temporary husband for his late friend’s widow so she can adopt. What begins as a practical arrangement turns into an unexpected chance at love. Where the Wind Blows stars Trevor Donovan and Ashley Elaine and is based on the acclaimed novel by Caroline Fyffe. During the movie premiere, viewers will see a first look of the all-new cozy mystery series Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries, making its cable debut on Thursday, April 23rd at 9 p.m. ET.
