• 1:15 | thing I remember about my first down set
• 1:17 | was actually like coming face to face
• 1:19 | with Patrick Dempsey who plays my big
• 1:22 | brother realizing how good the casting
• 1:24 | was because we looked like we were
• 1:28 | genuinely siblings like actually family
• 1:31 | oh my first day on set was incredible I
• 1:33 | was terrified and I remember seeing
• 1:37 | Sandra o get up from the table she
• 1:39 | walked all the way around the table and
• 1:42 | gave me a huge hug and it was sort of
• 1:45 | from that moment I was like oh welcome
• 1:47 | to gry’s Anatomy you know someone who’s
• 1:49 | been here since the first season season
• 1:51 | 1 it’s just you look great by the way
• 1:54 | wow all I remember is my first big scene
• 1:57 | was in the ER so medical medic medical
• 2:00 | people doctors everybody right and I was
• 2:02 | literally like oh this is going to be
• 2:04 | the best show ever 12 seasons ago I
• 2:07 | remember getting lost in the hospital
• 2:09 | it’s been 12 years and I still get lost
• 2:12 | it’s really about people trying to give
• 2:15 | their best each day in very challenging
• 2:18 | circumstances and the humanity of that
• 2:20 | and the comedy in that and the tragedy
• 2:22 | in that and everything rolled into one
• 2:24 | looking around and seeing all of these
• 2:26 | amazing actors that I had been fans of
• 2:28 | to take this journey here with him and
• 2:31 | uh I think that was most excited uh
• 2:33 | about that as as an actor the fans of
• 2:36 | gry’s anatomy are extraordinary going
• 2:39 | into the 20th season I’d like to say to
• 2:41 | the fans thank you thank you for loving
• 2:44 | us so much though we have a season 20 to
• 2:47 | our fans I just want to say we love you
• 2:50 | and we’re so grateful that you’re here
