T’Challa has taken over the Guardians of the Galaxy’s Twitter as Star-Lord in anticipation of Chadwick Boseman’s upcoming episode of Marvel’s What If…? Inspired by the comics series of the same name, What If…? explores the infinite possibilities of the MCU’s multiverse, broken wide open at the end of Disney+ series Loki.

The first episode of the series saw Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter take Steve Rogers’ place as the first Super Soldier. When Steve is shot, Peggy steps into the machine and becomes Captain Carter, working to stop WWII alongside Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers in the Hydra Stomper.

Each episode of What If…? will tell a different story centered around various characters. Many iconic MCU heroes are slated to appear, including Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and even more. Most notably, though, is Chadwick Boseman’s final appearance as T’Challa.

In his episode, Yondu, voiced by Michael Rooker, will kidnap T’Challa instead of Peter Quill, transforming him into Star-Lord. What If…? will be Boseman’s final role after his untimely passing in 2020.
