So far there are no takers, but the Senate Intelligence Committee held its first public hearing about Russian meddling in the U.S. election. The House investigation is stalled after new questions about the source of information for the Republican chairman. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is trying to recover from the failure of the Republican health care bill, and the president is threatening to “fight” the Freedom Caucus.
