Andy Capp Synopsis: Shirley's engagement party gets Flo and Ruby thinking that they need new dresses. Percy convinces each man that the other is buying his wife a dress first. Not to be outdone, Chalkie and Andy give the women money to buy them. The unveiling of the new dresses is disastrous.
