At the Threshold of an Era Synopsis: WAI and BILL quarrel. WAI suppresses her emotion and continues to work. HANG again expresses his love to WAI after the ball. HANG and WAI are seized with an impulse and have had an affair. YIN claims that BILL is charged of causing other bodily injury. TIM buys over the victim secretly. In a marathon contest, BILL is running and thinking. He eventually realizes that he is too stuck to his own principle in the past and his principle has given him tremendous pressure. BILL gives up in the contest. The victim amends his testimony. TIM worries that BILL will not cooperate. Unexpectedly, BILL does not say a word. YAN loses LEUNG`s diamond bracelet. BILL accompanies her to search for it everywhere. BILL suggests YAN to make a counterfeit one first. YAN is shocked to BILL`s change.
