Be Home for Dinner Synopsis: MARTIN takes KWAI to see his parents at a hotel. His parents like KWAI a lot, and both have bought her expensive jewelry. In YEE’s company, KWAI tells MARTIN she has decided not to marry him. TUNG does not agree with KWAI. In his opinion, a ring symbolizes a man’s promise to a woman. As such, both parties should keep the promise once it has been made. YEE, however, believes one should not begin a marriage simply because of a ring. KWAI asks YEE how MARTIN is doing when YEE gets home. YEE gives her a hug, and then she starts to weep. BRIAN needs to see YEE urgently. TUNG overhears him telling a waiter he is going to propose to his girlfriend.
