The Grand Canal Synopsis: Wu Gou goes to Chang An to look for Chang San-lang. Siang-r feels uneasy and tells Wu Gou about the relationship between Chang San-fang and Lan Ling. Wu Gou asks Chang San-lang, Chang only admits that he is friends with Lan Ling. Wu Gou and Siang-r feel relieved. Yang Su and Yang Kuang exaggerate the situation at the border and want Yang Gian to send his soldiers there. Yang Kuang and U Gian Zhang disagree, Yang Gian tyrants to wait-and see, Su and Kuang are unsatisfied. Yang Kuang makes Yu Fu seduce Yang Yung and tells her to pretend that she and Yung had sex in order to force concubine Yuan to make Yu Fu a concubine. However, concubine Yuan is very angry and sends Yu Fu away from the Palace. Yang Kuang then ordered Yu Wen Shu to kill Yu Fu but to accuse Yang Yung of the murder. But Yang Yung says it was concubine Yuan who kills Yu Fu out of jealousy and hatred. Yang Gian, thus, cannot decide on the case……
