Will Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 3 air? This is the query that is now driving people’s brains to race. In order to discover more about this, let’s explore it a bit more. There is therefore one thing in common with all anime viewers. Soon after they finish watching a show, they will Google the information on the future season. They are not at fault, and neither is anyone else. It seems sensible that since anime has a way of keeping us interested all the time, we want to watch more of it. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid fans shared this sentiment at the conclusion of the second season.
The anime’s second season’s episodes were finally released by the studio in July 2021 after a protracted delay. Fans are already speculating about whether Kyoto Animation will continue to work on the project and whether the anime will still return for a third season. So, will Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 3 be released anytime soon? Read on to find out what we know.
No formal statements about Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 3 have been made to far. September of last year marked the end of the second season. On January 19, 2022, a 13th episode—an OVA featuring Kanna and her companion Chloe—was made available.
A third season cannot be anticipated any time soon, given how long it took for the second season to be released (4 years ago). The manga has released enough chapters to easily transform into a new season, therefore a return of the third season is all but guaranteed. The earliest the third season might debut is in 2024–2025.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 3 Plot
Kobayashi, a programmer, and an office worker is met by a huge dragon as she prepares for work just outside her front door. The dragon reveals herself to be Tohru and changes into a human girl wearing a maid uniform right away. It turns out that Kobayashi had seen the dragon, who claimed to have come from another world, on a drunken mountain hike the previous evening. Kobayashi had then taken a holy sword from Tohru’s back, for which she was grateful. Kobayashi offers to let the dragon remain at her house and work as her personal maid because Tohru is homeless, and the dragon accepts after falling in love with Kobayashi.
Despite being good at cleaning, Tohru has an unconventional personality that frequently causes more difficulty than good in Kobayashi’s life. Tohru also draws other dragons, gods, and other mythological creatures to her new home just by being there. Kobayashi is confronted by one of these dragons, Kanna, who requests that Kobayashi send Tohru back to the other realm. When she was expelled from the other world and had nowhere else to go, Kobayashi took her in and became her guardian, it was then revealed. Kobayashi begins to view Tohru and Kanna as a family as they become more used to life in the modern world.
Along with the resulting risks, we anticipate seeing more of Kobayashi and Tohru’s developing romance in the upcoming season.
